Why We Exist: We are a community of parent volunteers that provides a support system to enrich students’ academic experience. We volunteer our time in service, sponsor and promote social activities, and provide programs to benefit and support the faculty and administration who are working to fulfill the Great Hearts mission to cultivate the hearts and minds of students in the pursuit of Truth, Goodness and Beauty.
What We Do
The North Phoenix Prep. PSO is a non-profit organization made up of parent volunteers. We support North Phoenix Preparatory Academy by helping build community and plan events. This includes pancake breakfasts, field trips, a spring carnival, teacher's birthdays, faculty lunches, socials, and dances. All parents and/or guardians of students currently enrolled at North Phoenix Preparatory Academy are members of the school’s Parent Service Organization. The Parent Service Organization is a subsidiary of the Academy and must comply with the general policies and procedures outlined by the bylaws.
We Make Things Happen!
This year, we have designed and printed masks with the school logo and are selling them online with the profits going to the Senior Trip to Washing D.C.
We also served the entire school a free pancake breakfast and have provided lunches for the faculty. We even surprised the 7th-grade faculty with a special luncheon and gift bags to show our appreciation for their hard work this year.
Traditionally, the PSO also puts on a large spring carnival, and this event brings out our entire community for a day of fun games and activities.
We love our NPX students and teachers! Please join us by volunteering your time to support NPX. Go, Gladiators!
